Friday 10/7 Message to Families

Beloved Families,

I hope you had a great sunny week! It was exciting to see our school filled with students and families last evening walking our halls and connecting with teachers as they shared curriculum in their classroom visits. After so long of not being able to welcome families into our school, Curriculum Night had a feeling of celebration to it. Thank you to the families, the students and the staff who made the evening fun and informative. See the information below for a great way to support our music department tomorrow, October 8th.

Not Getting the Friday Message?

If you know a parent/guardian who is not getting the Friday Message each week, or other general emails from Nathan Hale High School sent through the SchoolMessenger system, here are some causes, and steps to take:

  • Parent email is not in the student system (which is used to populate SchoolMessenger, the system used for Friday Messages). Contact the school and we will confirm your email is correct in the student system.
  • Messages have landed in the junk folder. Please check your email inbox’s spam or junk folder to confirm it’s not sitting there.
  • SchoolMessenger preferences aren’t accurately updated. Review the How to Manage your Contact Information section of the Family Communication/How we communicate with families webpage; it provides a link to the schoolmessenger website to update your preferences. After updating, please wait to see if it works for the following week’s Friday message.

If these steps don’t work to resolve things, please contact Rae Keyes. rkkeyes@seattleschools.org

While waiting to resolve SchoolMessenger issues, please note that the Friday messages are posted on the Nathan Hale website after it gets emailed out. Other info associated with a specific event can typically be found on the Nathan Hale Website Calendar; click on the event name to read more about it.

Enjoy the weekend! And Go Mariners!
