To receive personalized reading recommendations, please complete our short form:

All Nathan Hale students are enrolled in a Library course on Schoology called Program Support. This course contains resources and tutorials that will help students and families maximize their library experience within Seattle Public Schools.

Place Library Books on Hold

The Hale library catalog is browsable online, and students are encouraged to place holds on the books they want to read. Holds can be picked up in the Hale library, and students will be notified via SPS email when their holds are ready to be picked up.

Please view the video below or on YouTube for a refresher on placing holds.

E-books and Audiobooks

All Seattle Public Schools students have a digital library card at Seattle Public Library as part of our Library Link partnership. Students can access ebooks, audiobooks, research materials, comics, movies, music, TV shows, magazines and much more through Seattle Public Library.

Please view this video for more details about Library Link and how to use it.

Seattle Public Schools also offers access to ebooks and audiobooks via Sora. Sora is available from the Clever Student Portal. There is also a mobile app for Apple and Android phones.

Please see this video for instructions on accessing Sora via the Clever Student Portal, and this video for instructions on using the Sora mobile app.
