Friday 1/13 Message to Families
Beloved Families,
I hope you had a great week and are excited for our upcoming weekend. This past Wednesday, January 11th, our Black Student Union held our Martin Luther King Jr. assembly, honoring the legacy of Dr. King and the accomplishments of the civil rights movement. In the assembly, students shared stories, and held the themes of community, connection, and Black mental health, while also centering the advancement of racial equity, justice, and civil rights in our education system. This message was powerful, and I am proud of their hard work and consistent leadership. As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday, January 16th in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
Last Weekend: Senior Portrait and Baby Picture for Yearbook Due 1/16
Last call for senior portrait submissions! Portraits that are not submitted by end of day Monday, January 16th will not be in the yearbook. To submit a senior portrait:
- Visit Senior Portrait Submissions
- Type in the school code “nathanhale”, all lowercase with no spaces
- Fill out the contact form, then select “Upload Your Portrait”
Students who don’t submit a senior portrait will have their school ID photo published in the yearbook instead. If they also didn’t take a school ID photo this year, they will be listed under “Not Pictured”. January 16th is a hard deadline and there will not be an extension. If you have any questions, please contact: yearbooknathanhale@gmail.com.
The Heritage yearbook staffers are also accepting senior baby pictures through Monday, January 16th for their annual yearbook spread. To submit a baby picture of your senior, email yearbooknathanhale@gmail.com with the subject line “Senior baby pictures” and attach a photo. Please include the student’s full name with your photo.
