Curriculum Night – Thursday 10/5

Nathan Hale’s Curriculum Night is Thursday 10/5. The evening will be a chance for parents to walk through their student’s schedule, meet teachers and hear about the exciting topics and skills students will learn throughout the year.

Classroom visits begin at 7:00pm (zero period at 6:45pm). Earlier this week students should have brought home a green Curriculum Night schedule for the evening with our building floor plan copied on the back side. The evening should end at 8:40pm after a visit to student’s Mentorship class. If you didn’t get the schedule, you can access your student’s schedule on the Source to see what classes they have each period. The schedule for our Curriculum Night evening is as copied in below. Parents would go to their student’s period 1 class from 7:00 to 7:10pm, period 2 class from 7:15 to 7:25, etc.

Parents/guardians of seniors are invited to a special event in the Performing Arts Center at 6:00pm – what to expect going in to senior year. Junior parents are welcome to attend as well. Also starting at 6:00pm in our Activity Center will be information tables with our counselors, nurse and Teen Health Clinic staff, Seattle Promise (opportunity for two years of free schooling at Seattle Colleges), College Possible, Nathan Hale Community Organization, Nathan Hale Foundation and the Meadowbrook Teen Center.

Parents of the Class of 2024 will be selling pizza slices from 6:00 to 7:00pm as a fund raiser for SPREE (an after-graduation ceremony event for seniors in June) so stop by the Commons to pick up a quick bite before visiting classes!
