Service Learning Opportunities
Each student needs to have performed a minimum of 60 hours of Community Service to graduate (15 hours per SPS school year). Time sensitive volunteer opportunities are available in the Counseling Office (blue notebook).
Current Service Learning Opportunities
Refer to the list below for a wide range of service opportunities, contact any of these organizations to find out how you can volunteer.
- Volunteers Needed for Ravenna Eckstein Community Center Events. Earn Service Learning Hours: Happy Haunts Carnival and Haunted Hunt event on Oct. 16 from 4-7 p.m. Carnival volunteers will help neighbors play games and hand out prizes. Escape Room volunteers can choose from a variety of roles including scarer, game leader, and storyteller. Phone 206-684-7534 for more details.
- Come to the Meadowbrook Teen Life Center on Friday, Oct. 25 from 4 – 9 p.m. for a back to school kickback: Mind over Matter. There will be light refreshments and dinner will be served at 8 p.m. There will be games, activities, prizes, a raffle and goodie bags. It’s free!
