We are in the middle of an extended weekend, with yesterday, November 11th off in observance of Veterans Day, and no school today, Friday, November 12th. We hope your student is able to experience a measure of recharging during this long weekend.

Winter Sports

Winter sports tryouts and practices are scheduled to start on Monday, November 15th. Families with students turning out for winter sports should have completed their forms online on FinalForms. Parent/guardian must create the account in FinalForms, then add the student athlete. More detailed information about FinalForms is available in the Monday, November 15th Daily Bulletin on the NH website. Fall Play is November 18th – 20th!

Nathan Hale Theatre is thrilled beyond belief for the chance to perform in person on our beloved stage once more, and hope you’ll join us in celebrating our return with a fabulous comedy! The 39 Steps mixes a Hitchcock masterpiece with a little Monty Python to create a thrilling story of love, murder, and international conspiracy. With over 50 characters played by a cast of 16, Nathan Hale’s The 39 Steps will be a hoot!

Performances of The 39 Steps run November 18th-19th at 7:00pm, and November 20th at 2:00pm & 7:00pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $15 for adults ($10 for students/seniors) and online at

Proof of vaccination and health attestation required upon entry for all 18 years and older. There are no exceptions. Per COVID protocols, we will be assisting with seating to enforce social distancing. Masks are required throughout the evening and during the performance. We care about everyone’s safety!

Seattle Promise

While Seattle Promise scholarships are awarded to any senior who applies, we are including the information in the Friday Message so families in all grade levels can learn more about this great opportunity for students in Seattle. 

Seattle Public School 2022 Graduates Qualify for Free Tuition for College!  

Learn how students can apply for the Seattle Promise scholarship. There are still a couple of upcoming online workshops in November.

At this workshop, we will help students to complete the first steps in the scholarship process. We will assist students in completing the Seattle Promise application as well as the Seattle Colleges application. We will also describe the next steps for students to complete and answer any questions that you have.

Changes in Nathan Hale Schedule

Please check the Nathan Hale website calendar for any upcoming schedule changes. With the Thanksgiving Holiday break in a couple of weeks, we will be observing a different schedule on Wednesday, November 24th. It will be a period 1-6 day.
