    Friday, 11/20 Message to Families
    Posted on 11/20/2020

    Beloved Community,

We are learning much about the impacts that digital learning is having on our educators and students at Nathan Hale High School. As a community, we are working to create a less is more climate of learning, while still maximizing our teaching and learning. As we look at the data from Quarter One, we are aware of the amount of incomplete grades students have received. This is impacting all of our educators and students. As a community, we have more to explore with our Senate, Racial Equity Team, Professional Development Team, and in this exploration, we intend to continue to collaborate and design a learning experience with our students for our ongoing digital learning.

Much appreciation to our student led clubs of Black Student Union, Coalition of Asian Pacific Students, Racial Equity Club, and Principal Advisory Committee as they have all took time to share their experience and teach us about their learning experience. As we continue to learn and adjust to our student needs, we will grow in our capacity as educators, and ultimately grow together as a community of learners during online learning.
