People in meeting with voice bubbles above their head

Want more student voice and input in staff decisions? Nathan Hale will have a Principal Advisory Board this year, formed of 3-4 committed and passionate members in each grade level, who will provide input and feedback to principals to ensure that staff are meeting student needs.

Board members will participate in collaborative meetings with principals, classroom observations of strategies that teachers are using, and professional development sessions.

The meetings will likely be twice a month, either during mentorship or after school. Board members must have a good class attendance record, as classroom observations involve missing class. The advisory board is at least a year-long commitment (2019-2020 school year), and members are required to attend all bi-monthly meetings.

If you’re interested in applying, please go to the link below for an online form or get a paper form from the main office. Applications are due Monday, September 30th.
