Free Seattle Public Library (SPL) Resources

Hi Raiders! You have access to lots of movies, music, comic books, audiobooks, ebooks, courses, and more – for free – by using your Student ID # to login to Seattle Public Library.

Setting up your SPL Account

1. Go to spl.org
2. Click My Account
3. Type in your Username or Barcode and PIN
   • Your Username or Barcode is 990000 (that’s four zeros) + your Student ID # (which you can find on the Source if you don’t know it). For example, if your Student ID # is 1234567, your Username or Barcode would be 9900001234567.
   • Your PIN is your birth month and day. For example, if your birthday was January 5, your PIN would be 0105.
4. Once you log in, you’ll be asked if you want to link your current SPL account or create a new account. Choose Create a new account. Fill in the details (choose a username, make sure the email is correct, etc.)
5. Start accessing library resources for free! Learn more about a few of them below.
