    Our sophomores and juniors have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT free of charge. This is the preliminary SAT and National Meri Scholarship Qualifying Test. Student study guides distributed in Mentorships and Counseling Office. Practice tests available on the College Board website. All 10th and 11th grade students have bee pre-registered by Seattle School so no need to sign up. Test begins promptly at 8:30am in the main gym. Students need a calculator and #2 pencils.     The following message was sent via School Messenger on Friday, 10/10/19 to all 10th and 11th grade families (for whom we have current email addresses in our school system):

    Dear families,

    Next Wednesday, October 16th, our sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSAT in the Main Gym. Please note the earlier start time and the details below to support your students. A good night sleep and breakfast will be helpful to students taking the PSAT. 

    1. Students check in at 8:00 in the Commons

    2. Everyone needs a CALCULATOR and #2 pencils (mechanical pencils can’t be scored)

    3. Snacks are provided but students may want to bring water



    6. 11th grade students have a check in area by alpha to get their answer sheet

    7. 10th grade students have a check in area by alpha to get their answer sheet

    8. All belongings, except water, pencils, and CALCULATOR, are to be stored by the bleachers         

             a. The gym can be cold so students may want a light jacket

    9. Students who arrive after the test begins will not be seated

    10. Students not testing are expected to be in classes
