    Nathan Hale High School Information Nights

    NHHS will hold an informational evening on Wednesday, April 17th that will be similar in content to the weather-related canceled February 12th Future Family evening. Please see the evening schedule below for tour and presentation times.  School was not in session when Open Enrollment period closed at the end of mid-winter break therefore we were not able to reschedule the evening during Open Enrollment for families considering high school choice. We will offer the April information evening to families who will be attending Nathan Hale in the fall of 2019. This event is scheduled during the period students fill out their subject selection sheets for their ninth grade courses and will include information that will be helpful to families at that time.  We will hold the April 17th informational evening in addition to our June 11th New Family Night.

    On days schools are closed due to snow, scheduled activities are canceled.  The NHHS Future Family Night will not take place if schools are closed on February 12th.

    In the event of cancellation, please see our NHHS School Information Packet and feel free to take a self-guided tour after school is dismissed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday at 3:35pm.  Please sign-in with the main office if you decide to tour after school.

    6:00PM – 7:00PM   Information Tables and Tours in Commons (last tour leaves Commons at 6:40)

    7:00PM – 8:30PM   Presentation and Questions in Performing Arts Center
    Topics: Courses offered; structure of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades; school culture and philosophy; school communication and opportunities for connections within the Nathan Hale Community

    6:00PM – 7:00PM       Information Tables and Tours in Commons (last tour leaves Commons at 6:40)

    6:00PM – 8:00 PM      Distinct (SM4), Access (SM4), Social Emotional Learning – SEL (SM3), Focus (SM2) and Medically Fragile classrooms will be open and teachers will be available to share information and answer questions
    Join us in any way that works for you:

    • Take a tour of the whole school – tours start at 6PM in the Commons – last tour leaves the Commons at 6:40, then head to the main office to be directed to the classrooms noted above
    • Or - head straight to the main office to be directed to the classrooms noted above
    • Students are welcome!

    7:00PM – 8:30PM   Presentation and Questions in Performing Arts Center

    Please note: The last tour to leave the Commons before the 7:00 presentation will be at 6:40 on both evenings           

    We invite and encourage families who will be assigned to NHHS to attend an information evening in order to get a head start on transition to high school. We also welcome families who are assigned to another school but are interested in NHHS and are considering going through the Open Enrollment process.

    Starting December 13th, families not able to attend one of the Information Nights are more than welcome to come to the main office between 3:40 and 4PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to sign in, pick up an information packet and walk through the building on a self-guided tour.
